Full Stack Engineer

We believe that we can make big changes happen and improve the daily lives of millions of people by bringing quality software to the federal space.&nbsp;</p> <p>We're looking for a <strong>Full Stack Engineer</strong> to join our VA Polypharmacy Integration team, building and maintaining the frontend and backend systems that bring clinical decision support to VA clinicians.</p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain user interfaces using <strong>React</strong> and <strong>TypeScript</strong> for clinician-facing CDS applications</li> <li>Build and maintain backend services primarily in <strong>Kotlin</strong>, within a polyglot environment that also includes <strong>Python</strong> and <strong>Spring Boot</strong></li> <li>Integrate with <strong>FHIR</strong> APIs and support <strong>SMART on FHIR</strong> and <strong>CDS Hooks</strong> implementations</li> <li>Ensure frontend interfaces meet <strong>WCAG 2.1</strong> and <strong>Section 508</strong> accessibility standards</li> <li>Collaborate with the Technical Lead on architecture decisions and engineering best practices</li> <li>Support <strong>AWS</strong> infrastructure and cloud-native deployment patterns</li> <li>Write clean, well-documented code with an eye toward maintainability and performance</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>React</strong> and <strong>TypeScript</strong></li> <li>Backend development experience in <strong>Kotlin</strong>, <strong>Python</strong>, or <strong>Spring Boot</strong></li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>FHIR</strong>, <strong>SMART on FHIR</strong>, or <strong>CDS Hooks</strong> is a plus</li> <li>Experience working within <strong>AWS</strong> cloud environments</li> <li>Experience with EHR platforms or VA systems is a plus</li> <li>Thrives in a remote, collaborative <strong>Agile</strong> environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team</li> <li>Communicates clearly and openly, whether pairing with engineers or syncing with product and design</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
