Job description
About ACD
For more than a century, AIA Contract Documents (ACD) has supported architecture, engineering, and construction professionals by delivering a shared industry standard to align parties on a project.
What began in 1888 with the development of standardized construction contracts has evolved into a comprehensive suite of contract tools and foundational workflows that not only shape how the industry works today, but uniquely position ACD to help firms navigate construction’s growing complexity.
In a world driven by scale, fragmentation, and AI-generated decisions that prioritize speed over a clear understanding of risk, ACD serves as a trusted anchor, ensuring project participants can reduce disputes and negotiations, while achieving faster alignment and more predictable outcomes for the future.
We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive outbound pipeline generation and support overall revenue growth. The BDR will focus on engaging targeted accounts through structured, multi-channel outreach, identifying potential opportunities, and setting up qualified meetings for the Account Executive (AE) team.
This role is centered on outbound prospecting across key lead sources, including project-based opportunities, curated account lists, and self-sourced prospects. The BDR will engage construction contractors, designers, and owners to understand their contract workflows and identify where ACD solutions can provide value.
BDRs are supported by defined outbound strategies, lead sources, and modern sales tools, and are expected to execute with consistency, focus, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate is proactive, coachable, and results-oriented, with strong communication skills and attention to detail. They take ownership of their work, are disciplined in execution, and are motivated by continuous improvement and performance.
Responsibilities:
Own outbound pipeline generation across assigned lead sources
Execute structured, multi-touch outreach using HubSpot sequences (calls, emails, SMS) to engage prospects and create qualified opportunities
Research accounts, projects, and contacts to build targeted prospect lists aligned to ACD’s ideal customer profile
Personalize outreach based on project activity, account context, and lead source to drive higher engagement and response rates
Conduct initial discovery to understand contract workflow, project pipeline, and potential fit for AIA Contract Documents
Qualify prospects and schedule meetings (demos) for Account Executives with clear context and documented notes in CRM
Maintain consistent follow-up and ensure all assigned leads are actively worked with no gaps in coverage
Partner closely with AEs to align target accounts, messaging, and opportunity strategy
Accurately track all activity and maintain CRM hygiene within HubSpot
Meet or exceed monthly targets for activity, meeting conversion, and qualified opportunity creation
Making 100+ outbound phone calls each day
Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements:
1+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
SaaS experience and/or HubSpot experience are strongly preferred
Ability to take initiative, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High energy and a positive attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Benefits and Perks:

Company-paid health, dental and vision benefits for employees
401k with company match
Bonus potential
