  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and collaborate with senior analysts or engineers

Root Cause Analysis (RCA):

  • Investigate data issues to identify root causes
  • Analyze data discrepancies, reporting issues, and refresh failures
  • Document findings and recommend corrective or preventive actions
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to reduce future incidents

Documentation & Knowledge Management:

  • Create and maintain clear documentation for data processes and known issues
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and accessible to stakeholders

Data & Reporting Support:

  • Create and modify T-SQL queries for data validation and analysis
  • Assist with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric reports, datasets, and semantic models
  • Support report testing, validation, and deployment activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Basic T-SQL experience (e.g., SELECT statements, joins, filters, simple aggregations)
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Prior experience in a helpdesk, support, or operations role
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Salesforce)
  • Experience documenting processes or creating user-facing documentation
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes
  • Exposure to Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric (academic, internship, or professional)

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proactive learner who asks good questions and seeks continuous improvement
