Vitalant is currently hiring for a Medical Lab Scientist/Medical Lab Generalist for their Blood Reference Laboratory located in Rosemont, IL.

What to Expect
Schedule: EVE 3:00 PM - 11:30PM M-F (rotates on call)
Training: Paid Training 6-8 weeks Days (7:00 AM - 3:30PM) Monday-Friday.
Training location: Pearl Street, Rosemont, L
Base Pay: $24.07/hour - $51.48/hour (depending on role).

As a Med Lab Scientist, you'll get to
- Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.
- Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.

- Medical Lab Generalist: we can help you fast track to MLS in just over one year!
Medical Lab Generalist
- Bachelor's degree in a CLIA approved program (Biology, chemistry, medical science etc.) required.
- no experience required.
- Pay: $24.07/hour - $24.62/hour
Medical Lab Scientist I
- Bachelor's degree in medical Lab Science or MLS certification required.
- Certification as MLS required within 6 months of employment.
- Pay: $37.16/hour
Medical Lab Scientist II
- MLS/BB certification required.
- 2 years in a clinical laboratory setting required.
- Pay: $42.73/hour - $44.77/hour
Medical Lab Scientist III
- SBB certification preferred. MLS/BB certification required.
- 3 years lab experience with 1-year IRL required.
- 2 years lead/charge experience required.
- Pay $49.14/hour - $51.48/hour
