Job description

Shape the future of how customers pay, get paid, and move money — securely, seamlessly, and with confidence. As a Payments Product Marketing Manager, you'll translate customer and market insights into clear positioning and go-to-market strategies, driving adoption, educating customers on the right use cases, and bringing new capabilities to market in close partnership with the Product team.

As a Vice President, Payments Product Marketing Manager at JPMorganChase within Consumer & Community Banking, you will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for payment products — turning customer insights and performance data into compelling positioning, campaigns, and enablement that drive adoption and ongoing engagement. You will partner closely with Product, Analytics, and cross-functional Marketing teams to bring customer-led solutions to market at scale. This work matters because it helps customers choose, use, and benefit from the right payment solutions — improving how they pay and get paid while accelerating product growth across one of the world's leading financial institutions.

Job responsibilities

  • Own the payments customer journey and drive key performance indicators aligned to business goals across customer segments
  • Define product marketing strategy, target customer definition, and jobs to be done — translating consumer insights into actionable marketing opportunities
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for new and existing products and features, shaping positioning, messaging narrative, and end-to-end launch plans
  • Orchestrate channel strategies across owned, paid, and earned channels; set budgets and establish success metrics
  • Drive cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing across the full customer journey — from awareness and consideration through engagement and retention
  • Partner with Product, Research, Analytics, and Field teams to scope and deliver experience improvements that resonate with customers
  • Track performance and engagement with payment solutions; communicate progress and insights to leadership and partner teams through data-backed storytelling
  • Conduct competitive and market analyses to sharpen differentiation and inform positioning strategy
  • Act as a change agent, driving product and marketing transformation and innovation across the organization

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on Product Marketing concepts and 7+ years applied experience
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience in financial services, with a proven track record of developing data-driven strategies and leading high-impact campaigns that deliver measurable results
  • Compelling storyteller who clearly communicates strategy, decisions, and measurable results to both team members and executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to push boundaries and drive innovation while maintaining focus on the broader business impact
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and quantifiable business results
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and lead through collaboration in a highly matrixed organization
  • Rigorous attention to detail with a passion for testing, learning, and taking calculated risks

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital/Technology, or Business
  • Experience crafting compelling narratives through both verbal and written communication across diverse audiences
  • Ability to think holistically and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines
  • Skilled at working in a continuously evolving environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for performance reporting and executive presentations
