Please read these terms carefully before using JobPly. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JobPly ("the Service"), including our Chrome extension and web platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JobPly. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Service Description

JobPly provides the following services:

  • Automated job application submission on LinkedIn, Workday, and Greenhouse platforms
  • Job application tracking and analytics
  • Profile management and resume storage
  • AI-powered custom resume and cover letter generation
  • Cold email outreach tools for connecting with recruiters and hiring managers
  • Job search progress tracking and insights

The Service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about job application success rates, interview invitations, or employment outcomes.

Eligibility

To use JobPly, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately at contact@jobply.ai.

Acceptable Use Policy

You MAY:

  • Use the Service to apply for legitimate job opportunities
  • Upload your own resumes, cover letters, and professional information
  • Track your job applications and communicate with recruiters
  • Use AI-generated content as a starting point for your applications
  • Export your data at any time

You MAY NOT:

  • Use the Service to submit fraudulent, misleading, or false information
  • Apply for jobs you are not qualified for or have no intention of pursuing
  • Spam employers with mass applications to unrelated positions
  • Violate any third-party terms of service (LinkedIn, Workday, Greenhouse, etc.)
  • Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or collect employer data beyond what is necessary for legitimate applications
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Circumvent any rate limits, security measures, or access controls
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity

Third-Party Platforms

JobPly integrates with third-party job platforms (LinkedIn, Workday, Greenhouse) to automate your applications. By using our Service:

  • You acknowledge that you are also bound by the terms of service of these third-party platforms
  • You grant JobPly permission to interact with these platforms on your behalf
  • You understand that we are not responsible for changes to third-party platforms that may affect functionality
  • You agree to comply with all third-party platform policies, including anti-spam and data usage policies

Important: If your account is banned or restricted by a third-party platform due to use of our Service, JobPly is not liable for any resulting damages or losses. Use the Service responsibly and in accordance with all applicable platform policies.

Intellectual Property

JobPly's Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Software code, algorithms, and AI models
  • User interface design and layout
  • Logos, trademarks, and branding
  • Documentation and tutorials

are owned by JobPly and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (resumes, cover letters, profiles, etc.). However, by uploading content, you grant JobPly:

  • A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service
  • Permission to use AI models to generate customized resumes and emails based on your content
  • The right to create anonymized, aggregated data from your usage for analytics and service improvement

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI tools (custom resumes, cover letters, emails) is provided as-is. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before use. JobPly is not liable for inaccuracies, errors, or consequences resulting from AI-generated content.

Payment & Refunds

Free Tier

JobPly currently offers a free tier with limited features. We reserve the right to introduce paid subscription plans or premium features in the future.

Future Paid Plans

If we introduce paid plans:

  • Pricing and billing terms will be clearly disclosed before purchase
  • Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

Third-Party Costs

Some features (e.g., contact discovery via Snov.io) may incur third-party API costs. We will clearly disclose any such costs before you use these features.

Disclaimers & Limitations

No Employment Guarantees

JobPly does not guarantee job offers, interviews, or employment outcomes. The Service is a tool to assist with job applications, but success depends on many factors outside our control, including your qualifications, the job market, and employer hiring decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobPly shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Account suspensions or bans by third-party platforms (LinkedIn, Workday, etc.)
  • Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
  • Technical errors, downtime, or service interruptions
  • Unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain security

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Security from viruses or harmful components

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JobPly, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your use of the Service or violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Your violation of any laws or regulations
  • Any content you submit, upload, or transmit through the Service
  • Any fraudulent, misleading, or harmful actions you take using the Service

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at contact@jobply.ai. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Termination by JobPly

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Your account is inactive for more than 2 years (after email notification)
  • We are required to do so by law or legal process
  • Continuing to provide the Service would create a legal or security risk

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) shall remain in effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • For material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification
  • Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance
  • If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed about your rights and obligations.

Governing Law & Disputes

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service:

  • You agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at contact@jobply.ai
  • If informal resolution fails within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration
  • Arbitration will be conducted by a neutral arbitrator in accordance with applicable arbitration rules
  • You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration

Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive relief in court to prevent irreparable harm or protect intellectual property rights.

Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JobPly regarding the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

Force Majeure

JobPly shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, or third-party service outages.

Acknowledgment

BY INSTALLING, ACCESSING, OR USING JOBPLY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Service. Your use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Effective Date: These Terms of Service are effective as of January 1, 2025 and apply to all users of JobPly.
