Guest Services Representative (Seasonal)
Soldier Hollow Nordic Center | Midway, UT
Be the first friendly face guests see at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center as a Guest Service Rep. We have the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic Games biathlon range, 51 km of ski trails, and the longest tubing hill in Utah. Get guests onto the hill, out on the trails, and fueled up for the day, with shifts available across three areas of the venue. If you enjoy working with people and want a winter job with variety, keep reading.
Schedule, Pay & Perks
- Season: Seasonal position, December to March
- Schedule: Open 7 days a week. Shifts are flexible, with shifts in the evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pay: $17–$19 per hour
- Perks: Unlimited winter tubing for you, plus 6 free tubing vouchers for friends and family. Unlimited Nordic Skiing and equipment rental for you and your family
- Perks at our other venues: 6 friends and family Winter Bobsled Experience vouchers at the Utah Olympic Park, plus free public skating and skate rentals at the Utah Olympic Oval

Why This Role
Every pass you sell and every guest you welcome helps the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation share its venues with the public and keep them world-class for the athletes who train here. You’ll join a team that works together across the venue, and you’ll get on-site training on our point-of-sale system and everything else you need to succeed. With three different spots to work, no two shifts have to look the same.
Job Requirements
Must-haves:
- At least 15 years old
- Experience working with the public
- Comfortable handling cash and card payments and learning a point-of-sale system (we’ll train you)
- Organized and able to multitask during busy rushes
- Available evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in winter conditions, and staying active throughout the day
- Willing to get a food handler’s permit to work at the café and SDC (we’ll help you get it)
Nice-to-haves:
- A current food handler’s permit
- Food service or retail experience
A Day in the Life
On any given shift, you might check guests in for tubing and confirm their waivers, sell trail passes and ski rentals, help with retail, or work at the café counter serving food and drinks. You’ll answer questions about Soldier Hollow programs, solve guest problems, and close out your till at the end of the day. Wherever you’re working, you’re the first person guests turn to, and your help sets the tone for their whole visit.
About You at Soldier Hollow
You enjoy helping people and stay friendly even during the busiest rush (Community). You’re organized and accurate, whether you’re counting a till or making sure every guest has signed a waiver (Excellence). And you jump in wherever the team needs you, from the café counter to the tubing hill (Collaboration).
