Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.   We are currently seeking a full-time Evening Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Roxbury Correction Institution located in Hagerstown, MD.

The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Maryland, per contract needs.  Each assignment will be restricted to one location.  The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Shift information: Evening 1130A-12A

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Must live 50 miles from facility. 
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
