JB105 - Full-Time Nanny - Upper East Side, NY

Overview

A private family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking an experienced, warm, and dependable full-time nanny for their infant son. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm. A few evenings may be needed for work calls, about one to two times per month.

The ideal candidate will be contracted before the holidays, with a full-time start in early January 2027. Interviews and trials will begin in November.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for an infant, supporting his growth and development at every stage
• Plan engaging, age appropriate activities and developmental play
• Schedule and attend classes and play dates
• Prepare bottles and follow feeding routines
• Keep the nursery clean and organized
• Handle the baby's laundry
• Communicate openly with the parents about routines, milestones, and daily updates

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience, with infant care experience strongly preferred
• Newborn and infant experience, including feeding, sleep routines, and developmental milestones
• A warm, calm, and positive presence with excellent judgment
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, discreet approach
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain

• Occasional local travel to visit family in the New York suburbs and Connecticut
• CPR and First-Aid Certification
