Job description
Responsible for providing personal assistance services (PAS) to agency clients.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Personal care - Mobility and transfer, bathing, dressing, grooming; feeding; exercising, toileting, incontinent care, positioning, reminders, and assisting with self-administered medications.
- Meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, linen change, laundry, shopping, errands, and transportation.
- Companionship, activities, and socialization.
- Completion of annual training and performance review requirements.
- Completion of Care Logs/Time Sheets.
- Timely reporting of changes in client condition or problems with client and schedules.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate competency in providing tasks to clients.
- Must be able to read, write, and follow directions in English.
- Observes and practices rules of conduct, ethics, and confidentiality.
- Must observe all work rules and must have read, understand, and comply with all applicable agency policies.
