Massage Therapist

The Massage Therapist delivers personalized, high-quality massage treatments that promote guest relaxation and wellness, creating a welcoming, safe, and professional spa experience through attentive consultation, skilled treatment, thoughtful recommendations, and consistent care of each treatment room. This role provides guest treatments in the shared resort spa serving guests of both hotels. Service excellence is how we are known: polished, personal service at every guest touchpoint.

Including but not limited to:

• Perform massage services per Florida licensure, the spa menu, and treatment protocols, tailored to each guest
• Consult with guests on goals, preferences, and contraindications; obtain informed consent and maintain boundaries
• Prepare treatment rooms with clean linens, products, and supplies, and reset promptly between services
• Provide attentive guest care from greeting through post-treatment guidance and protect guest confidentiality
• Follow sanitation and infection-control procedures; clean and disinfect treatment surfaces, equipment, and linens
• Monitor guest comfort, adjust pressure and techniques as requested, and pause treatment when appropriate
• Document treatment notes and guest preferences accurately in approved systems, following applicable privacy practices
• Coordinate with spa reception and leadership on timing, room readiness, supplies, guest requests, and service concerns
• Recommend relevant spa services, enhancements, and retail products without pressure; support rebooking and guest loyalty
• Attend trainings, maintain active licensure and required education, and follow PMG Hospitality policies

• Treatment utilization, punctuality, and readiness for booked appointments
• Appropriate service enhancements, rebooking, and retail recommendations
• Compliance with sanitation, guest privacy, safety, and Florida licensure requirements

• Active, unrestricted Florida massage therapist license
• Completion of a massage therapy program meeting Florida licensure requirements
• Professional massage therapy experience preferred; upscale spa or resort experience is an advantage
• Skill in massage techniques, guest consultation, informed consent, sanitation, draping, and professional boundaries
• Time management and discretion
• Experience in resort spa services and guest-focused wellness treatments preferred
• Listens closely, adapts each treatment, and respects guest comfort, privacy, and consent
• Builds trust and encourages return visits through excellent care rather than high-pressure selling
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and apply controlled pressure; occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
