About the Role

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and running Valir's marketing across its PACE programs and Valir Hospice. The role both collects and consolidates the marketing plan in conjunction with senior leadership, and turns the marketing plan into finished, compliant work: materials cleared by CMS and the states, accurate listings and web pages, campaigns that produce qualified inquiries, and referral-partner tools the outreach and sales teams use every week.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced marketer who is comfortable in regulated healthcare, writes clearly for older adults and their families, and can keep work moving across multiple markets. The position supports Valir PACE (Oklahoma), Cherry Blossom PACE (Virginia), and Valir Hospice (Oklahoma).

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Hands-on management of paid search, paid social, Google Business Profiles and online listings.
• Working knowledge of a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar) and web analytics (GA4), and the ability to build a simple dashboard in Excel or a BI tool.
• Experience managing website content in WordPress or a similar system.
• Clear, plain-language writing and careful editing.
• Project and vendor management across several deadlines and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA as it applies to marketing, testimonials and images of patients/participants.
• Able to travel to all Valir sites, including overnight trips.

Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public health or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 7 years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare.
• Experience producing marketing that must pass regulatory or legal review, such as Medicare Advantage, PACE, hospice, home health, or health plan marketing.

Preferred:

• PACE, Medicare Advantage, or hospice marketing experience, including CMS marketing submissions.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Experience marketing to referral sources such as case managers, discharge planners, and physicians.
• Experience running multilingual campaigns and managing translation vendors.
• Design skills in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience in a multi-site or multi-state healthcare organization.
