LEHR is a leading provider of emergency vehicle upfitting solutions for police, fire, utility, and other essential fleets. We're looking for an experienced Automotive Shop Manager - Vehicle Upfitting to lead our Cincinnati operation, oversee production, and develop a high-performing team that delivers quality builds on time.
If you have leadership experience, strong technical aptitude, a background working with 12V electrical systems, and thrive in a high energy environment, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily shop operations and production activities
- Supervise 15- 20 team members including technicians, customer service, and warehouse team
- Schedule work and manage workflow to meet production goals
- Maintain inventory and coordinate material needs with warehouse team
- Provide invoicing for builds
- Monitor labor efficiency, shop performance, and productivity metrics
- Support customers by providing exceptional service and occasional quotes
- Implement process improvements that increase efficiency and quality
- Facilitate employee reviews with Shop Foreman
- Assist with uniform sales
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive results
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent - required
- Knowledge and/or experience in the automotive parts and upfitting industry a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
- $75k - $80k, based on experience
- Full-Time/non-exempt

Monday to Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm
