Job description
Keep production running and improving at a regulated manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. You will be the go-to engineer for the manufacturing lines: troubleshooting, process improvements, and quality and compliance support.
What you'll do
- Provide day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing lines, including equipment and process troubleshooting.
- Identify and implement improvements to yield, efficiency and product quality.
- Support nonconformances, investigations, root cause analysis and CAPAs.
- Author manufacturing procedures, work instructions and technical documentation.
- Support change controls, equipment qualification and process validation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Biomedical or related).
- Manufacturing engineering in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical or similar) preferred.
- GMP/quality systems, validation and change control.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Contract: 24 months, with possible extension
- Shift: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Start: Immediate
