Senior Administrative Assistant

For Club Sports, completes all necessary personnel actions for a staff of approximately 370 part-time and student labor positions in the Department of Campus Recreation. This includes hiring, I-9 verifications, labor distributions, pay rate changes, and terminations. Schedules and supervises a part-time staff of 10-15 Club Sport Attendants and provides administrative support to program units in Campus Recreation. The units include Club Sports and Outdoor Adventures. Assists clubs with travel reservations and purchases and managing travel-related expenses for Club Sports and Outdoor Adventures. Communicates current and accurate departmental information for programming and services to provide a high level of customer service. Reports to the Assistant Director of Club Sports.

• Knowledge of PC applications, specifically Microsoft Office Excel and Word
• Ability to proficiently work within technical and software systems.
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service through interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.

• Ability to adapt and work effectively with different people and situations.

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task, self-direct, and prioritize work assignments.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.

Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree
OR

• High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualification:
• Experience working within a university setting
