Armed Security Officer Hiring Event - Nashville

Allied Universal is hiring 40+ Armed Security Officers across Tennessee, in Chattanooga, Smyrna, Clarksville, and Memphis. Walk in, interview, and leave with an offer!

Hiring Event

• When: Thursday, November 12, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Where: Allied Universal, 22 Century Blvd, Suite 410, Nashville, TN 37214
• On-the-spot offers for qualified candidates
• Dress code: Business casual. Come dressed as you would for an interview (no sweats).

Pay: $26.00/hour

Schedule: All positions are full-time.

Open Positions

• Armed Security Officer, Chattanooga, TN 37415 (15 openings): Monday–Friday, morning shift, 40 hours per week, no weekends
• Armed Security Officer, Smyrna, TN (multiple openings): morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts; weekdays and weekends
• Armed Security Officer, Clarksville, TN (multiple openings): morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts; weekdays and weekends
• Armed Security Officer, Memphis, TN 38141 (multiple openings): morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts; weekdays and weekends

Requirements

• Age 21 or older
• Experience:
  • Chattanooga: 3+ years of security, law enforcement, Military Police, or military experience
  • Smyrna, Clarksville, and Memphis: 3+ years of security, law enforcement, or military experience, or an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice
• One of the following:
  • DD214 with Honorable Discharge
  • Associate’s degree or 60 college credits
  • Police Academy Certificate
  • Corrections Academy Certificate

Your experience has value. Put it to work at $26/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
