Medical Assistant - FT

Are you a Medical Assistant looking to work in a fast-paced orthopedic and sports medicine setting? Join our team and work alongside experienced Doctors, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners.

As a Clinical Assistant, you will play an important role in keeping our clinics running smoothly and helping provide an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and preparing them for their appointments
• Taking patient histories and documenting information in the electronic medical record
• Preparing exam rooms and assisting providers during patient visits
• Communicating patient concerns and information to the provider
• Assisting with suture removal, injection preparation, and brace fitting
• Helping carry out provider orders
• Scheduling surgeries and follow-up appointments
• Providing patients with instructions and education
• Documenting office visits and patient communication
• Helping maintain an organized and efficient clinic environment

On-the-job training is provided for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday–Friday with no weekends, holidays, or late nights.

This position is primarily focused on patient care within the clinic. 

Compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

Education and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education preferred
• Medical Assistant: Certification or registration through an accredited national institution 
• Medical assisting training preferred
• Proficiency using email and interacting with Internet applications 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties
