Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medication Aide to join our correctional healthcare team.

A Certified Medication Aide is preferred, but certification is not required. We're looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and ready to provide quality care in a structured healthcare environment.

🩺 What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate and professional patient care
• Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice and training
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare provider
• Assist with routine healthcare needs and patient services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Follow established medication administration and clinical procedures
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Help maintain a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment
• Practice within your professional scope, training, and established clinical guidelines

Qualifications

📋 What You'll Need

For LPN Candidates:

• Current LPN license in the state of employment
• Current CPR certification
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

For Medication Aide Candidates:

• Medication Aide certification is preferred but not required
• Previous medication administration or healthcare experience required
• Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain as required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work effectively in a structured healthcare environment
