Housekeeper (Full-Time)

Description

We are seeking dedicated Housekeeping Staff to perform general housekeeping duties within our shelter residential units. The ideal candidate will ensure that all common areas are clean and well-maintained, contributing to a safe and sanitary environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general housekeeping tasks in shelter residential units.
• Clean and maintain all common areas of the congregate shelter and scattered site units.
• Ensure safe and sanitary conditions throughout the facility.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Utilize appropriate equipment for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and bathroom areas.
• Report to the congregate shelter coordinator and shelter director for scattered site units.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
