Job description

**Job Title:** House Manager & Family Assistant **Location:** Park City, UT 84098 **Employment Type:** Part-time | 15 – 20 hours per week **Schedule:** 4 shifts a week | Monday - Thursday with alternating weekly schedule aligned with the family's custody and school routine: **Compensation: $**35–$40 per hour / based on experience **Start Date:** ASAP **Requirements** **About Our Family** We are an active family of four rooted in the mountains of Park City, where the outdoors are a big part of who we are. Whether we’re skiing, mountain biking, playing soccer, or heading out for a hike, we love making the most of everything our mountain community has to offer. Our two teenage daughters (12 & 13) are independent, athletic, and passionate about their interests, with full schedules and plenty of personality. We also have Ranger, our 3 year old very energetic chocolate lab, who is just as ready to join in on our adventure. Our family operates on an every-other-week custody schedule, so life has a natural rhythm that shifts depending on when the girls are home. During those weeks, afternoons often revolve around school, soccer practices, and the girls’ many activities. Outside of that routine, there is more flexibility to enjoy time together and take care of the things that make a house feel like home. Between a demanding career that involves frequent travel, busy after-school schedules, and the everyday responsibilities of running a household, it can be difficult to find the time and energy to slow down and enjoy it all. More than anything, we want to create more room for the parts of life we love most. Rather than spending our evenings catching up on laundry, running errands, or tackling an endless list of household projects, we want more time to be present with one another—whether that means getting outside with Ranger, enjoying a relaxed evening at home, or simply having space to recharge independently. As we navigate this season of change, our hope is to bring greater order and balance into our home so it feels less like another to-do list and more like a place where we can recharge, connect meaningfully, and enjoy the active mountain lifestyle we love. **Who You Are / What We're Looking For** The right person for this role is a proactive, self-directed professional who takes ownership of the household and naturally sees what needs to be done. You are resourceful, organized, and thoughtful in your approach, anticipating needs and following through without waiting for direction. Alongside your strong operational skills, you bring a genuine warmth to your work. You are approachable, considerate, and naturally supportive, helping create a home environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and well cared for. You understand that supporting a busy family goes beyond completing a task list; it means creating the structure, consistency, and breathing room that allow everyone to spend less time managing the details of daily life and more time enjoying it. You communicate clearly and consistently, whether through a quick text, an updated task list, or a thoughtful weekly recap, and you hold yourself accountable for seeing things through. You value privacy and discretion, understand the importance of trust within a family’s home, and bring a high level of professionalism to your work. You balance independence and initiative with a warm, thoughtful presence, taking pride in being someone the family can rely on. You are adaptable, physically capable, and comfortable working independently in a household whose rhythm shifts from week to week. An active, athletic lifestyle is a natural fit for you. You enjoy being outdoors, appreciate the mountain lifestyle, and feel at home around a family whose schedule may revolve around skiing, mountain biking, soccer, hiking, and other outdoor adventures. You are comfortable keeping up with the practical demands of an active household, from managing gear and unpacking after trips to keeping everyday routines organized and running smoothly. You also genuinely love dogs and are happy to make Ranger’s care and daily walks part of your routine. Above all, you value the opportunity to support a family in a meaningful, behind-the-scenes capacity, bringing both practical help and a positive, caring presence to their home so they can spend more time doing what they love. French speaking is a plus. **Key Responsibilities** **Family Support & Child Assistance** **Household Management & Organization** **Deep Cleaning & Special Projects** **Inventory & Errands** **Meal Support** **Laundry & Linens** **Pet Care** **Vehicle Upkeep** **Vendor & Property Oversight** **Administrative & Personal Assistant Support** **How to Apply** Please submit a short intro letter, an updated resume, and three professional references with contact information. Please note that this role requires a background check. *When you apply with Sage Haus, you'll also be added to our candidate community email list so we can share hiring updates, resources, and opportunities.
