Director of Food and Beverage

Sanctuary Hotel New York is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to lead our food and beverage operations and deliver the exceptional experiences our guests expect.

.The Director of Food and Beverage at Sanctuary Hotel will lead and oversee all food and beverage operations to ensure exceptional quality, service, and profitability. This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and a strong commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience in our New York, NY location.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement food and beverage strategies aligned with the hotel’s goals.
• Manage daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service.
• Lead, train, and motivate the food and beverage team to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Control costs, budgeting, and financial performance of the food and beverage department.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to create innovative menus and promotions.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years experience in food and beverage management, preferably in luxury hotels.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
