Multi Market Quality Control - Operations

Job Summary: This position reports directly to the Manager of Internal Operations. This individual is responsible for auditing data and material purchased, investigating invoicing errors, revising material list to ensure builder specifications are being followed, and investigating job cost concerns for all Alpha markets. Multi-Market Quality Control will be required to identify any discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and material list and report them directly to the Manager of Internal Operations.  

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews purchase orders in varying markets to identify discrepancies.
• Escalates any discrepancies after comparing data between purchase orders and vendor confirmations to the appropriate department/personnel for corrections.  
• Ensures adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Investigate discrepancies on invoices with pricing vs contracted pricing.
• Reviews Job Cost with Manager of Operations and Branch Managers to provide accurate data.
• Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 3-5 years of administrative experience in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with construction industry materials pertaining to roofing, siding, metal,
• gutters, etc.
• Sharp analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task while prioritizing.
• Intermediate –Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 year of experience in office or construction industry preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform some travel.
• Light to moderate lifting up to 15 pounds, pushing and pulling abilities.
