Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Ypsilanti, MI. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with medication reminders and health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related field is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
• Ability to pass a background check.
