Weekend/ Overnight Caregiver

Senior Helpers of Blue Ridge is seeking compassionate and dedicated Weekend/Overnight Caregivers to join our team in Charlottesville, VA. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional care and support to seniors during weekend and overnight hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and behavior
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Ensure a safe environment and promptly report any changes in client condition
• Support clients during overnight hours and respond to emergencies as necessary

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or related experience preferred
• Ability to work weekend and overnight shifts
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
• Willingness to undergo training and certification as required
