Job description
Overview
A warm, nurturing family seeks an engaging, proactive part-time nanny to care for their three children, ages 5, 7, and 9. The nanny will work with the mother to manage after-school routines, activities, and evening prep. The ideal candidate works well with autonomy, is passionate about child development, and reinforces manners and basic life skills through age-appropriate tasks.
The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, for approximately 20 hours per week. The position is looking to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Collect the children from school along with the mother
- Drive one or two of the children to after school activities
- Assist with the children's laundry
- Prepare simple but nutritious meals for the children
- Assist with the transition into the evening routine (homework help, packing up, winding down).
Qualifications
- Excellent communication
Requirements
- Driver with a clean licence - the family will provide a car
- Legally allowed to work in the US
- Fluent English speaking
Salary and Benefits
- $35+ per hour
