# CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver – Portland, OR Earn **$1,400–$1,800 per week** plus a **$5,000 bonus** in this dedicated local intermodal driving position. Enjoy daily home time, day or night shifts, and routes throughout the Portland and Salem areas, with occasional freight into Washington. ### Pay Details & Schedule - **Weekly Pay: $1,400–$1,800** - **$0.65 CPM** - **$22 per stop** - Approximately **$44 average per load** - **$40 per load** for approximately 90% of loads under 50 miles - **$750 incentive for every 50 customer deliveries/pickups** - **$5,000 bonus** - Optional HazMat endorsement with additional pay - HazMat endorsement costs may be reimbursed with a receipt - Day and night shifts available - **Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday** - **Home daily** - 34-hour rest periods as scheduled - Extra work may be available based on freight needs ### Job Details - Dedicated local intermodal operation - Routes throughout the Portland and Salem areas - Occasional freight to Hermiston, OR, and Grandview, WA - Washington crossings required when assigned - Washington freight is typically drop or yard-pull work - Primarily short-haul container moves - No driver-assist unloading - Mix of drop-and-hook, live-load, live-unload, and preloaded freight ### Job Requirements - Valid Class A CDL - Minimum **3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience** - Must be at least **22 years old** - No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions - No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years - Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements - Must be willing to cross into Washington when required - Must meet English-language requirements for safe driving, communication, and required documentation - Clean driving record - Valid DOT Medical Card - No SAP drivers - HazMat endorsement is optional and may qualify drivers for additional pay - Additional qualifications may apply ### Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Life and disability insurance - Paid time off - Vacation and holiday pay - 401(k) matching - Additional employee benefits
