Utility Cleaner

Job Summary: 

The Utility Cleaner will clean, sanitize, and maintain the kitchen and other areas throughout the facility.  

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• None. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen and throughout the facility. 

• Cleans and disinfects designated areas of the kitchen. 

• Keep refrigerator and freezer organized and clean.  

• Wipes tables in the breakroom between beaks. 

• Cleans glass doors and windows as needed. 

• Restock restroom paper goods as needed. 

• Breakdown all boxes for recycling.  

• Periodically take out trash around facility.  

• Cleans floors as needed. 

• Performs other related duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:  

• Detail-oriented and thorough. 

• Ability to work as a team with the kitchen production staff. 

• Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously. 

Education and Experience: 

• Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.  

Physical Requirements:  

• Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending. 

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times.
