Snowboard Instructor – Mountain Creek

Location: Vernon, NJ Reporting to: Ski and Snowboard Manager

About Mountain Creek:

 

Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants and lodge.

 

 

How the Snowboard Instructor works with the Team:

 

Introduce snowboarding to adults and children who are eager to learn the enjoyment of snow sports. Instructors create a fun and safe learning environment ensuring the guest have a memorable experience.

 

 

Team Member Responsibilities:

 

• Teach adults and children of varying abilities in group and private lessons.
• Helping the guests through the sales and rental process by answering questions and assisting where needed.
• Serves as an ambassador for the resort by being knowledgeable about the resort and products.

 

 

Team Member Qualifications:

 

 

 

• Comfortable riding on intermediate trails
• Must be able to work outdoors in winter conditions
• Must have own equipment
• Can work weekends and/or Holidays or midweek afternoons
• Teaching or coaching experience preferred but not required
• Good communication skills
• Must be 16 years of age or older
