Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to staff, visitors, and patients. This driving position offers the opportunity to apply your experience while using strong communication skills and sound judgment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government behavioral health care location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization in accordance with site procedures and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting appropriate assistance when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have three or more years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
