Alignment Specialist / General Service Technician

College Station Nissan is looking for an experienced, dependable Alignment & General Service Technician to join our growing service department.

We are seeking a technician who specializes in wheel alignments, steering, and suspension systems, but is also capable of performing general automotive maintenance and repairs when alignment work is not available.

The ideal candidate is productive, detail-oriented, and committed to performing quality repairs the first time.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform two-wheel and four-wheel alignments on all makes and models.
• Diagnose and correct steering, suspension, and tire wear concerns.
• Inspect and replace suspension and steering components.
• Perform brake repairs, maintenance services, and general mechanical repairs.
• Perform tire-related services as needed.
• Complete thorough multipoint inspections and identify additional needed repairs.
• Document repair recommendations accurately.
• Maintain productivity while minimizing comebacks.
• Assist with other service department repair work when alignment demand is lower.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Prior professional wheel alignment experience required.
• Strong knowledge of steering and suspension systems.
• Experience operating computerized alignment equipment.
• Ability to perform general automotive repairs independently.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and quality-focused.
