WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A MEDICATION AIDE?
As a Medication Aide at Spring Arbor, you'll play an important role in keeping our residents healthy, comfortable, and cared for.
Your responsibilities include:

Assist residents with medication administration and medication-related support in accordance with Virginia regulations and your certification

Provide compassionate assistance with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and mobility

Observe and report changes in residents' conditions

Maintain accurate medication and resident care documentation

Communicate with nursing leadership and caregivers to ensure continuity of care

Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families

Promote a positive, safe, and supportive living environment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Current Virginia Medication Aide certification/registration (RMA) required

Experience caring for older adults preferred

Experience in assisted living or memory care is a plus

Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented individuals

Strong communication and resident care skills

Must be at least 18 years old

Must successfully complete required background and employment screenings

CPR and First Aid certifications preferred or required under applicable regulations
