Take Out - Legal Sea Foods

We are looking for Take Out Associates to join our team in Hingham. This position is responsible for handling guest takeout orders and providing friendly, efficient, and accurate service. Ensures orders are entered correctly, packaged properly, and prepared for pickup in accordance with established food quality and service standards. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries courteously.
• Receive, process, and manage takeout and delivery orders.
• Assemble and package orders paying attention to packaging techniques to avoid spills, leaks, or damage during transportation.
• Process payments for takeout orders, including cash, credit/debit, and digital payment methods.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and proper reconciliation of sales at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be available to work weekday lunch shifts, weekends and holidays
• Previous work experience in similar role preferred.
• Working knowledge of Point of Sale systems is preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting.
• Must be able to handle guest incidents/complaints.
