Inpatient Hospice Center 

Part-time Days 7:00am- 3:30pm (rotating Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday, Sunday)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA)

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team at our intimate 6-bed inpatient hospice center. This is a unique opportunity to provide personalized, hands-on care and emotional support to patients and families during one of life's most important journeys.

Our hospice team is committed to delivering comfort, dignity, and exceptional care in a peaceful, home-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting comfort and dignity.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their loved ones.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Document care provided according to agency policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana CNA certification or HHA certification.
• Previous hospice, long-term care, hospital, or home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
