We’re seeking an experienced millwork hand with strong woodworking and finishing skills. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and works well independently and with a team.

Job Description

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair millwork, cabinetry, and wood components.

• Read drawings and follow project specifications.

• Measure, cut, shape, and fit materials accurately.

• Prepare surfaces through sanding, filling, and other prep work.

• Apply stains, sealers, paints, and clear finishes for consistent color and appearance.

• Identify and correct finishing defects.

• Safely operate and maintain woodworking tools and finishing equipment.

• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in millwork or cabinetmaking required.

• Proven wood finishing experience, including surface preparation, staining, and applying finish coats.

• Proficiency with woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.

• Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Dependability, good communication, and the ability to complete assigned work independently.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely perform the physical duties of the position.
