#1 Greet all shoppers warmly, answer questions, and help customers

Sweep, mop, clean buckets, and remove dead leaves or condensation from the floral area

Unpack, strip, cut, condition, and price fresh-cut flowers

Water, trim, and care for green and blooming plants, hanging baskets, and cut flower displays.

Take custom floral orders in-person or over the phone for birthdays, holidays, sympathy, and everyday occasions.

Inflate balloons and assemble specialty gift items as needed.

Keep the floral cooler, sales floor, and display racks clean, organized, and properly stocked.

Rotate stock regularly to ensure maximum freshness and quality.

Experience: Previous retail, customer service, or basic floral/creative experience is preferred, though a willingness to learn is welcome.

Communication: Friendly, patient, and clear verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, use floral pruners/knives safely, and lift up to 50–95 lbs (such as handling heavy water buckets or large plant pots).

Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays during peak floral/gift seasons (e.g., Valentine's Day, Mother's Day).
