Position Details:

Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 1st Shift | Sunday – Thursday
Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Pay: $15.50 – $16.50/hour, based on experience

What You’ll Do:

Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and public spaces to the highest standards
Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
Launder and manage linens and resident personal items as needed
Respond to resident housekeeping requests in a timely and courteous manner
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols throughout the community
Work collaboratively with the maintenance and care teams to maintain a clean, safe environment

What We’re Looking For:

Prior housekeeping experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community preferred
A strong eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness and resident dignity
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Friendly and respectful in interactions with residents, families, and team members
No certifications required

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in as well as to clean occupied apartments on a weekly basis or as scheduled, follow the cleaning schedule outlined for the cleaning of the common areas of the Community, and assure that the highest degree of cleanliness is always maintained.
Areas of Responsibility

Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply. Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized. Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.

Required Qualifications

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
The Community is a drug free workplace, associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.
