Summary:
Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for leadership. As Irrigation tech, you will be responsible for providing incredible guest service and member experiences by assisting with the day-to-day oversight of irrigation practices of the golf course.

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

• Water management of the 18-hole course with the ability to hand water, utilize the Rainbird IC App, and create programs based on watering needs.
• The ability to perform golf course maintenance tasks including but not limited to raking bunkers, mowing greens, fairways and tees, and course set up.
• Working with the team to assist in any tasks that are necessary to keep the golf course in good condition.

• Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping.
• Regularly to reach with arms and hands.
• Occasionally will be required to lift up to 30lbs.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, chemicals, pesticides, gasoline, vibration, pollen, dust, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards.
• Noise level is typically moderate to loud.
• Work extended hours during golf and holiday season.
• Work weekends and holidays.

• 1-3 years turf grass irrigation management required.
• Experience with Rainbird IC preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be highly organized and efficient with a high attention to detail.
• Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• 18-hole private club with 711 golf members. Annually the golf course receives over 55,000 rounds.
• Wall to wall Bimini Bermuda grass with TifEagle greens.
• The golf maintenance staff works alongside the landscape maintenance staff to provide the membership with aesthetically pleasing views throughout the property.
