Job description
JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Bander is responsible for banding the coils once they have been cut. The chief bander is responsible for placing bands around the coils, reaching above their head for the banding head to tighten the bands around the coils. They control the conveyor line waist level joystick and push button controls.

On – the – Job training: YES
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Special Course/Certificate/License:
Tools/Equipment: Tape Measurer, Banding Machine.
Skills: Communication Skills, Eye Hand Coordination, Depth Perception, Fine and Gross Motor Coordination, Perceptual Skills.
PPE Hard Hat, Arm Guards, Glove/Hand Protection, Steel Toe Shoes and Safety Glasses.
