Academic General Neurologist

Overview

The Department of Neurology at Dartmouth Health is recruiting a general neurologist for a full-time position at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

 

Position Overview:

• Outpatient-only practice
• Manage a broad spectrum of general neurology conditions with seamless access to subspecialty colleagues
• Balanced schedule: 32 patient-facing hours each week with 4 administrative hours and 4 hours of asynchronous time
• No call requirements
• Robust infrastructure support, including embedded clinical pharmacy specialists and pre-authorization support
• Active engagement in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students
• Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.

Requirements:

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency
• BE/BC in neurology (ABMS or AOA)
• Ability to obtain/maintain New Hampshire and Vermont medical licensure
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and a passion for academic medicine
