Product Development Intern - Mining

Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products that help keep people safe. Originally focused on the underground coal mining industry, Matrix has expanded into new industrial markets in the United States and globally. We are currently seeking a Product Development Intern to support the development of innovative technologies and equipment for the mining industry. This internship will provide hands-on experience working alongside engineering and product development teams throughout the product lifecycle, including concept development, prototyping, testing, validation, documentation, and product improvement initiatives. The intern will gain practical exposure to engineering processes, technical problem-solving, and product commercialization while contributing to real-world projects that enhance safety, efficiency, and performance in mining operations. This is a paid position that works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.
