Position Summary

The Magnolia Trails Director is responsible for leading our Memory Care neighborhood, creating engaging resident programming, supporting families, and developing team members to deliver person-centered care. This role plays a critical part in fostering a safe, vibrant, and supportive environment for residents living with dementia and other cognitive challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a robust monthly life enrichment calendar based on resident preferences and needs

• Lead, coach, and train team members on Magnolia Trails standards and best practices
• Promote resident safety by ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and community policies
• Build strong relationships with residents and families through ongoing communication, education, and support
• Collaborate with community leadership to ensure exceptional resident experiences

• Assist with memory care tours and family consultations for prospective residents
• Monitor and enhance engagement programs that promote dignity, purpose, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living, memory care, dementia care, healthcare, or a related field preferred
• Leadership experience managing or supervising team members preferred

• CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• College coursework required; Bachelor's degree preferred

• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Passion for serving seniors and supporting those living with memory loss
