Medical Assistant PRN | San Francisco

**Location:** San Francisco, CA 94105. **Pay:** $35–$40 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. **Employment Type:** W-2 | PRN. **Hours:** Weekdays, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. **Schedule:** PRN coverage based on clinic needs. Candidates should have weekday availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Shift availability will vary and is not guaranteed. **Commuter Access:** Convenient downtown location accessible by BART, Caltrain connections, ferry service, Muni, and Transbay buses. An onsite employee health center located within the San Francisco offices of a leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with strong, current phlebotomy skills to support PRN clinic coverage. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable stepping into an established outpatient clinic environment, working independently within scope, and supporting routine clinical and laboratory workflows as coverage needs arise. Responsibilities include patient intake, venipuncture, specimen collection and processing, point-of-care testing, vaccine administration when appropriately trained and authorized, referral coordination, and general support of daily clinic operations. The clinic provides employees with convenient access to wellness visits, preventive services, vaccinations, health screenings, minor illness care, and follow-up coordination. **Recent venipuncture experience is an essential qualification. Candidates who have not performed blood draws recently or cannot complete them independently will not be considered.** **Vaccine administration is a required clinical responsibility for this position. Candidates must be able to provide documentation supporting the applicable injection training and demonstrated hands-on competency required under California requirements.** Experience with patient scheduling, referral coordination, insurance verification, or medical front-office responsibilities is a plus.
