Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Observation in Saint Charles, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
