Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Assistance in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and use technology to document activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail café location, including customer areas, entrances, exterior areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft, and other security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to site-specific procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a primarily driving post is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
