Pay Rate Range $20-$24/hour, depending on years of experience

 4, 10 hour Evening Shift; Sunday-Wednesday 12pm-9:30pm

We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant/Certified Medication Tech to join our team at Idaho State Correctional Center located in Kuna, Idaho.

The CNA/CMT works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring. Responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration.

Qualifications

• Idaho CNA license or ability to obtain license
• Medical Aide certification (or ability to obtain) with approval for medication administration required
• Current CPR
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
