Job Title: Driver (CDL)

Location: Dallas, TX

Department: Supply Chain & Logistics

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: Competitive

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Materials Manager

Company Description

AVAdek, Inc., established in 1993, is a leading manufacturer and installer of architectural aluminum systems. We specialize in entry canopies, walkway covers, sunshades, carports, and custom architectural structures for commercial construction projects across the United States.

With in-house drafting, engineering, fabrication, and installation capabilities, AVAdek manages projects from initial design and coordination through manufacturing and final installation. Our team works closely with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners to turn architectural concepts into successful, buildable projects.

About the Role

The Driver (CDL) supports construction and operational activities by safely transporting materials, equipment, and products to project sites, fabrication facilities, and company locations, while ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with transportation regulations and company standards. This position involves operating a flatbed truck equipped with an attached forklift.

This is more than a driving position. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently, loading and unloading their own truck when needed, moving materials around jobsites, and helping support our field and warehouse teams when deliveries are not scheduled. We are looking for someone who understands that being part of our team means more than just driving a truck — our ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, flexible, and willing to jump in and help wherever needed. They have a positive attitude, take pride in their work, and work well with others.
