Welcome Center Associate

Our Downtown YMCA is looking for an energetic, customer-service-driven individual to join our team! As the first person our members see, you will be the front face of our Y, creating a welcoming and positive environment for everyone who walks through our doors. This is the perfect part-time job for someone looking for flexibility, community connection, and a meaningful place to work.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet members and guests with a warm, welcoming attitude.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about programs, schedules, and memberships.
Handle member check-ins, new registrations, and program sign-ups efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.

Address and resolve member feedback or direct them to the appropriate department.

Qualifications:

Customer-focused: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping people.
Detail-oriented: Ability to manage tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptable: Thrives in a dynamic setting and handles multi-tasking with ease.
Reliable: Strong attendance record and a dependable team-player mindset.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
