Service Recommendation: Explaining the why behind recommended maintenance items found during multi-point inspections without sounding pushy or aggressive.
      Internal Team Collaboration:

Service Advisor Hand-Offs: Providing clear, concise, and accurate verbal or written updates to Service Advisors regarding vehicle status, additional required repairs, or delays.
Service Lane Coordination: Verbally coordinating with valet drivers, parts department staff, and other technicians to maintain a fluid, efficient service bay workflow.
Escalation Management: Articulating complex mechanical issues to a Shop Foreman or Lead Technician when a vehicle requires advanced diagnostics beyond express care limits.
        Documentation & Digital Communication:

Inspection Report Accuracy: Writing detailed, objective, and legible notes on Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) sheets or digital dealership management systems (CDK, X-Time).
Video/Photo Capture: Utilizing dealership tablets to record short video workarounds or take photos of worn components to visually communicate repair needs directly to customers.
Work Order Integrity: Clearly documenting the exact services performed, fluid types/quantities used, and final vehicle specifications (tire pressure PSI, torque specs).
          Safety & Compliance:

Hazard Alerts: Immediately and clearly shouting or signaling to team members regarding safety hazards in the shop, such as moving vehicles, fluid spills, or faulty lift equipment.
