Dreamland Line Cook

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock stations for service with necessary inventory and prep items.
• Prepare and assemble high-quality dishes according to station recipes and specs as orders are received.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership regarding station needs, assistance, or potential delays.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure guest orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
• Perform comprehensive kitchen breakdown, cleaning, and sanitization duties at the end of each shift.

Qualifications & Required Skills

• 0-4 years experience in working in a kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to culinary quality.
• Comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
• Ability to maintain focus, efficiency, and composure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Openness to receiving constructive feedback and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in cooking methods, food temperature standards, and proper equipment operation.
• Thorough understanding of health department regulations and food safety standards.

 Starting rate of $20-$24/hr DOE

• Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb, walk, and stand for long durations of time.

• Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color peripheral, and depth perception. 
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
