Maître D'/Host

Chef David LeFevre has carved a niche in Manhattan Beach with eclectic, chef-driven restaurants focusing on soulful food, engaging service, hand crafted cocktails and boutique wine selections. Manhattan Beach Post opened in April 2011 and has been a South Bay staple ever since! We are looking for a Maîre D' or Lead Host to join our team.

A qualified Lead Host Candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years hosting in an upscale casual atmosphere. Having excellent multi-tasking skills, working well under pressure and an ability to smile amidst the hustle & bustle of a busy restaurant is part of the job. Being Guest First, quick thinking and have grace under pressure are qualities we hold in very high regard. Candidates for this position will possess humility, integrity and respect. A background in training is preferred, but not required.

This position will be required to work both dinner and brunch shifts, with 4 shifts a week. Sunday availability is a must. Most of all, we are looking for individuals passionate about hospitality, relationship building and possess a genuine kindness. Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years hosting in an upscale casual environment, preferably in a chef-driven restaurant. A training background is a huge plus.
